Dan M Signal Mountain , TN May 18, 2015 Appliance: Model LG WM1832CW Fe error code lg washer The problem with our washer was that it would get stuck in the water fill stage allowing the washer to continually fill, then display FE code. I would then have to manually shut off the water, pause the washer then restart to have it continue the cycle. I researched online what this code meant and thankfully came across AppliancePartsPros.com website with the answer AND the solution! It seemed pretty clear that is was the Inlet Valve Assembly. I have never attempted an appliance repair like this before but the various reviews and the great video made it seem easy. I ordered the parts (I ordered both Assemblies - hot and cold - as another poster recommended, just in case). I received the parts in less than 48 hours! and did the repair in 30 mins. after reviewing the video again. The valve area I needed to access on my washer was a little different than the one used on the video (mine is 10+ years old) but once I got this area exposed the part replacement was exactly the same. Very easy fix and it cost a total of $95 (both parts). An appliance repair call would have cost 3x as much. Thank you AppliancePartsPros.com!! You will be my first stop for future appliance problems before I call any company. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
