I called several appliance repair companies to come replace the felt on the drum of my dryer. One didn't work on Whirlpool dryers, one would charge a steep price, and the third suggested I order the part here and do it myself. Not being a handy person I was a bit intimidated, but the guy who did the video tutorial was very helpful. I needed help to lift the dryer off the washer, but other than that I did it all myself. It took a long time because I wanted to follow the directions exactly and occasionally the parts didn't come off as smoothly as they were supposed to. Plus you have to allow the adhesive to dry for an hour before putting it back together. Reassembly was much quicker. The 24 hour wait to use the dryer was frustrating after a week with no clean laundry, but I ran several loads yesterday and it worked perfectly. Plus I had the satisfaction of saving money and doing the work myself! Thanks for the part and the tutorial video!
