James D Gaithersburg , MD June 05, 2021 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG WF448AAW/XAA Filter clogged. Even though the machine indicated the filter was clogged, the problem was actually with the pump. We cleaned the filter repeatedly and even disassembled the machine to clean out the drain pipes and around the pump. After eliminating all other possibilities, we ordered the pump with the thought that if that didn't take care of the problem we would just move on to a new machine. This one is about 11 years old and we're trying to squeeze every last washing cycle out of it. So, we received the OEM pump from Appliance Parts Pros, installed it in about an hour, and now works like a new one! The instructional video associated with this pump on the website does not show the front loading washer but there's plenty of youtube videos that provide instructions on how to replace. I've order from Appliance Parts Pros before and probably will continue to as my appliances age. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
