I have an Amana bottom drawer freezer. Really hard to get to the bottom screws with the bottom basket in so I took out the top basket and moved the bottom one out of the way. Getting the door off was easy - getting it back on - not so easy. I wound up doing this twice because I couldn't get the gasket to seat properly. The second time I put the gasket in the dryer for 10 minutes, made extra sure the corners lined up and lifted the interior door assembly as I went so the gasket slipped underneath. Had to be careful when putting the screws in that I didn't pull out the seated gasket. Make sure you have a power nutdriver or this will take forever. Finally - putting the door back on.
As you try and place the door in position, the "arms" you're trying to attach it to keep rolling backwards. Then the screws with the washers dangling off them move all over the place and invariably the washers fall off. After lots of bad words & missing washers it got done. Gasket looks great but it was a frustrating experience. Fridge door gasket was a snap after that!!
