Ordered parts, defrosted refrigerator, and replaced with new items. This problem has been going on quite some time, while Samsung refused to acknowledge the defective unit, claiming it was owner fault. The defrosting had to be completed every 3-4 months and managed in time to require defrosting every few days. Originally a repairman came and although he defrosted it the first time, he informed us, this is quite common and the unit is defective by design; which is why we continued to defrost on a regular basis until it became too much. Trying this as last resort, so if this doesn't solve issue, we will have to replace unit. The replacing was fairly easy and would do it again if needed. Parts arrived quickly which was wonderful, can't say enough nice things about that experience. So far, so good, as refrigerator seems to be functioning as it did up until warranty ran out.
