Called Appliance Parts Pro and ordered a new control panel. Ordered the part on Saturday, received the part on the following Saturday. Appliance Parts Prop offered faster delivery, but I chose the least expensive. Simple fix. I used a paint scrapper to gently pry the old control panel from the front of the freezer and snapped the new one in place. Plugged the freezer back up and good to go. About 5 minutes total time. I previously had called a repair technician who had a $150.00 service fee just to come out and evaluate the problem. He would then have to purchase the part and if he got it right, would return to install the part with his mark up on the part. I figure I saved a couple hundred dollars. I cannot say enough good things about Appliance Parts Pro. My part costs less than $100.00 including shipping. Great service.
