First I confirmed using another outlet the freezer had power. Next, I found out with internet search others had the same problem which was usually caused by one or two parts. Tested possible control panel malfunction by banging on the panel with my palm - amazing the freezer started working until the control panel frizzled out again. Ordered new panel from Appliance Parts Pros, installed it following instructions provided and now my freezer works great! Note: you will break tabs in housing which is ok as there is enough tension with the connector for the control panel to stay securely onto the freezer door. Also, for tools just tape off area around the panel and use putty tools.
