Dennis V Sayre , PA May 06, 2017 Appliance: Model LHT 2140 Fridigare front loading washing machine would not start Replaced the door switch/solenoid assembly. I also ordered the striker for the door, but didn't need it. I was sort of surprised the fix worked. I was able to disassemble the old unit, and didn't see anything obviously wrong with it. Additionally I could hear the solenoid pick, and the door locked. The status switch must have been faulty. Ordered the part on Monday night, had it Wednesday. Pleased with the prompt delivery. Very easy repair.
