My GE dishwasher would power on, but when attempting to start the cycle, it would beep 3 times and not start. This is a common issue with GE D/Ws. After about 6 months of resetting it by turning off the breaker, that stopped fixing the problem. So I bought the control board after reading about the issue through this sight. The replacement was actually quite simple, I had to remove 2 screws to remove the trim panel, 1 screw for the junction box cover and 2 screws holding the control board tray. I disconnected 4 quick-connect wires and the board came out. Switched it out with the new board and put it back together. Flipped the breaker on and it worked good as new. It took less than 10 minutes.
