Saw that my GE dishwasher was leaking at the solenoid but had really no idea why. Pulled out the DW, flipped it upside down & removed the solenoid. Fortunately with ta little Googling found this GE Dishwasher Pump Leaking Repair Guide = http://www.appliance-repair-it.com/GE-dishwasher-pump.html
This kind fella had very detailed instructions (pictures too) of my exact problem. Even listed the parts necessary to fix, purchased here.
For less than $25 I fixed our DW. Can't beat that :-)
