After doing some research on the internet , saw that someone else had the same issue and fixed it by replacing the control board . Found a repair video on YouTube and decided I could do the repair by myself ( I have medium competency on mechanical repairs , had installed the dishwasher
myself ) . Ordered a replacement board from AppliancePartsPros.com. The part was delivered the following day. Completed the repair in about an hour without having to physically remove the dishwasher and disconnect water and drain lines (hard on the body though , as I had to lie on the hard floor and bend awkwardly ). Saved hundreds of dollars by not calling an authorized repairmen since they have a trip charge over $100 , plus the cost of parts ( with excess markup) , and the cost of labor to do the repair .
