I ordered a new mode selector and new tub bearing. Upon disassembly, I noticed that the plastic outer tub had actually heated up around the tub bearing and tub seal area, such that the new tub seal did not fit tightly. I ordered a replacement outer tub, and reassembled all the new parts. During assembly, I installed the new tub seal upside down, but recognized it while re-watching the how-to video. I pulled the assembly back off and flipped the seal over, then reassembled it again. I also put on a new drive belt, which was much tighter than I expected. I did not buy the special wrench to remove the tub nut, but bought a new combination wrench and cut it down to fit inside the washer. Thanks to Appliance Parts Pro and their quick shipping, we were down for only three days. The video was very helpful for both ends of the job.
