I was GREATLY surprised. I ordered 2 of the parts, to do both sides while I had it apart. The NEXT DAY the parts were at my door. I pulled the unit, and took out what seemed like a thousand screws to get the ram out. The parts just clip in. I had to straighten the ram and reassemble the unit. From removal of unit to turning it back on, total time---less than 2 hours. I have a bad back and only one good hand. If I was in the good shape I was 8 years ago, this would have taken about 1 to 1 1/2 hours max.
1/4" nut driver, #2 phillips screwdriver and an allen wrench to turn the motor from the top.
