Walter R Pittsfield , ME December 19, 2014 Gfci outlet for washer had tripped followed by intermittent stopping or failure to start Found lid switch had melted. Ordered new part. New part was different from OEM part. Read installation instructions, and learned the new part would fit. I did have to drill one new hole in the top lip of the side panel to make it fit, but it was much cheaper than paying someone to fix it. Again, appliancepartspros.com saved me lots of money. Thanks guys. 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
