Replaced upper limit, and thermostat
On this particular dryer, (This one was an LG DLE 2532W...but it is similar to a lot others) I took the one screw out holding the vent pipe (on the back of the dryer) pulled it out, and you could see both thermostats on your left. The screws are a bit awkward to get out, but I tipped the unit up (front on the wall with a towel to protect the wall and the dryer) and was able to access both thermostats thru the opening that the vent tube's removal left.
