After walking through the troubleshooting steps it seemed to be either the thermostat or the heating element. Since the thermostat cost less I figured I’d start there. To back up my theory I tested the continuity of the heater element with a multimeter and it checked out ok. The multimeter on the thermostat checked out as an open circuit. The instructional video to disassemble the dryer was perfect. Installing the new part took no time at all and reassembling the dryer was fairly quick. Thanks for the great resources!
