I followed the video on the page for the replacement part called the "High Limit Thermostat" which I found after a forum I read mentioned the most common problem leading to no heat was this piece being broken. It wasn't the exact model dryer, but it was so straightforward and close to the same model I had no issue. Good chance to vacuum out the inside of the dryer as well and prevent future damage.
