First removed the lower front panel. So much lint spent awhile cleaning it up to work in the space. removed the black cover for the blower to clean out all the lint built up for 15-20 years. No difficulty seeing how to get the coil out but it was stuck in the housing. So we removed the entire housing and it took 2 of us, one to hold the housing down and the other one pulled the heat coil out. Putting it back was lots easier. We installed the new one and then put the housing back and hooked up the wires, that part was very simple. total time was 2 hrs
