After troubleshooting with the documents found online for my dryer I discovered that the thermistor was out of tolerance and the heating element was broken in two places.
Ordered parts from appliancepartspros.com, cleaned it all up and put it back together. Pretty easy process actually.
Hardest part was putting it all back together. Needed an extra pair of hands for that.
