Steve H Newport Beach , CA December 04, 2020 Appliance: LG Dryer DLG5966G Lg Dryer Dlg5966g / Apgeeus: No heating on my dlg5966g dryer. How to replace Dryer Igniter. The repair went straight forward as I have taken it apart before to change rollers. I purchased what I thought was wrong. I watched videos on the correct continuity for each and that is where the situation changed, as after receiving the parts I checked them to the ones on the dryer and they both no matter which one checked out the same. So it seemed to me I had no bad parts so I changed all, Igniter, thermistor, burner tube thermostat and high limit thermostat. I opted to replace all instead of one by one which would have told me exactly which one was bad. With that all is good as the dryer is working better than before as my Wife say it is drying faster than before, Thanks again. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
