The ice maker auger switch mount broke and so the auger wasn't activated to deliver ice. I bought a replacement Control Bracket and replaced it in my fridge.
Unplugged the fridge first. Taking the panel off was the trickiest and most worrisome part. I got under it with a stiff putty knife and pried it while pushing downward on the top of the control panel. It eventually popped out so I could lift it off and unplug it. I took a picture of the connections in case I forgot where they went. I needed a small flat blade screwdriver to press in the tangs of the light socket and switches. I used a needle nose pliers to remove the connectors on the light socket.
I took some time to clean the black mold from the fixtures around the dispenser.
