First, your company web site is extremely helpful. If anyone chooses to do it theirself the ordering process is efficient, quick and easy. Things not found at many companies these days. The last time I ordered from you I got the part in the delivery system within 24 hours, but not so this time. Still I receive this part within 3 days, What I would expect normally when ordering from the internet. I'll never use any other appliance site unless you change for the worse, the customers are the judge, always!
The videos that I have used are very helpful indeed. The actuator for the ice maker has a step that if you forget it, you must go back in to set it right or the ice maker will not work. Kudos on the videos.
Just one caveat, my feeder tube for the water side was installed from the factory with an extremely short line length and was impossible to push back in by hand or with the needle nose. So, I found some well sticky tape and a piece of string, feed about 2" into the tube, taped it into the tube and feed the string through the water tube hole and pulled the tube through and unwrapped it once through the hole. "Important" Dry the tube well first and don't over tape the tube it won't go through the hole (don't tape past what you can pull through the tube hole). I used 100 mile an hour tape from the military or possibly some gorilla tape would work. I hope this can be helpful to someone if they find the same problem, otherwise I would rate this as an easy project if you have some fix it skills.
