After watching a video on the problem and how to fix it on the AppliancePartsPros.com site. I removed the panel with a scraper as described. Had to remove the freezer handle also. Very easy to get to the motor and replace. Took longer to clean mold off all parts with spray bleach and soft toothbrush. If worried take pictures with a phone as removing parts but very simple design. Before testing the motor remove the ice bin if full of ice and then plug the frig in and test. Also after putting the assembly back in it wouldn't activate the motor switch because the cup flapper has a little plastic protrusion on the back side that has to be positioned behind another little lip on the door panel to activate the motor switch. Look behind the cup flapper to see it and when installing the assembly back in slide in and downward to get the cup flapper behind the catch that holds it back farther inward. Very easy but a lot of cleaning for anybody. Used only all scraper and Philips screwdriver.
