We discovered the damage this way: we knew the general area of the problem and started watching the videos that are featured by the chosen parts, which helped us find all of the issues our ice dispenser had - more than we first thought.
Ordering was easy although we did have one of the 3 parts we replaced that was backordered. Once we received all of our parts we watched one of the videos that involved disassembling and reassembling the whole auger assembly and showed us how to completely replace all of the parts we were replacing. And it works!
