I took apart that area & noticed that the ice dispenser door bracket had broken on 1 side. This wouldn't allow it to open & close properly. I replaced the ice door bracket & just to be on the safe side I also replace the spring. This really made this 18yr old frig ice dispenser work like brand new. I also replace the freezer basket hanger because it had also broke on 1 side. Now its all in like-new condition
