I could hear the ice maker trying to eject ice cubes, but no water was flowing into the machine, suggesting it was the water fill valve and not the ice maker itself that was at fault. I looked up the correct part (checked against the manual), ordered and installed it in 10 minutes (the YouTube video was helpful). Easy fix, and now I have ice again!
