Bout $90 worth of parts, new auger, flap and holder, and decided to by new solenoid since looked bad and wasn't sure if it was part of flap problem.
videos were amazing. I never thought I could do this myself, not very mechanical. only problem was video showed getting the door surround off was easy with the flat blade and pushing in the tabs, never could get that to work, finally the touch control panel popped out of the surround (not how it should be gotten into) and could get into the parts in door, replacing the flap and solenoid was easy after that, and forced touch panel back into surround, SO, all is working now, probably saved $150 in a service call, proud of myself, if I can do it anyone can.
Auger replacement was pretty easy also, and just as video showed. worse part was since my computer was in my office with video I had to take the ice bucket into my office and do the work on my desk so I could watch the video, but that was not a real problem. again, anyone could do it if they can follow visual directions.
save yourself some money and try these.
GREAT job on the videos, never knew these existed, glad I found Appliance Parts Pro, I'll surely try them again for other appliances.
