This is a very old refrigerator and I had no confidence in solving the problem. I thought it could be the door seal or the chute door or both. Started with the cheapest fix after I found the video based on my model number.
Not too surprised, I found that the internals were quite different than what was shown in the video. I think my appliance was made before the heated door was introduced into production.
But the replacement progressed without a problem. It took less than 20 minutes and best of all, it totally solved the problem. Hope to get a few more years out of this relic.
