Paul V Ashland , MA September 16, 2023 Appliance: Model WPW10190961 / AP6016625 (MFG./SUPPLIER) Ice maker was leaking when water refilled. I watched a Youtube video on how to remove the ice maker. I did the removal to determine why it was leaking. The coating on the ice mold section had failed after 10 years and was corroding. I decided to replace the entire assembly. I initially ordered the unit from another supplier but the delivery was ~1 month. After waiting two weeks they pushed the delivery out another month so I cancelled the order. I again searched suppliers and found "AppliancePartsPros.com" and they had the unit in stock for $5 less than the original supplier! So I ordered it and it was here in about 5 days. I installed the new assembly, again following the Youtube video, I took about 30 minutes to install. Turned the water back on and Viola! Back in business making ice. Note: since the water was off for a few weeks, just to be safe, I flushed water through the front water dispenser for about a minute and I dumped the first set of ice cubes.
