Michelle P Iron Mountain , MI August 20, 2022 Appliance: Model KENMORE ELITE FREEZER ON THE BOTTOM Ice maker stopped working. We replaced the ice maker. It took my husband about 15 minutes and that included him emptying the baskets from the freezer and putting them back in. We were a bit worried as the ice maker was not filling up with water right after we installed it. Turns out the ice maker has to actually get down to freezer temperature before it will call for water. After a few hours, we did hear the ice maker fill with water and when we woke in the morning we had a lot of ice. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
