Brad S Palm Harbor , FL October 10, 2022 The icemaker leaking icesickles hanging down in freezer. The refrigerator is an 18-year-old Kitchenaid. Replaced solenoid valve first but did not correct the leaking icemaker. Replaced Ice Maker (15-minute job) and ice maker works GREAT. Interestingly when I replaced the solenoid I had a tiny leak there. The new solenoid took care of that. So for less than $300 and an hour of my time replacing both parts and cleaning the coils and fan, I have basically a brand new Kitchenaid Refrigerator that is around $2,800 new. They don't make 'em like they used to. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
