Replacing the icemaker was relatively easy. The hard part was moving the refrigerator to unplug it and turn off the water supply. My refrigerator has a bottom freezer and I have a kitchen island so the refrigerator had to be pulled out and then pushed to the side to access the freezer. I used a nut driver in lieu of a screwdriver to loosen the four screws holding the door in place and then to loosen the screws holding the icemaker in place. I then unplugged the icemaker and removed it. I then plugged the new icemaker in making sure the water supply went in the feed to the ice maker. It took a little effort to get the icemaker to hook back on the screws but after that it was just a matter of tightening the screws, replacing the door, turning the water back on, plugging the refrigerator back in, and pushing the refrigerator back in place.
