The igniter would glow, but no gas flow.
Bought the unit used and was told it had been tested and worked perfectly- that the igniter could not need replacement…
The new igniter fixed the problem though!
Followed-up advice on the forum assured me that these igniters don’t click off after lighting (like a furnace does). This was very helpful !
