The screws were corroded and seized, so I ended up having to drill them out and break off the heads to remove the old burner. Once the old burner was removed, the repair consisted of only swapping one wire and installing two new screws. Would have been a 5-minute fix had the original equipment been in better condition. With the new burner with ignitor attached, the repair was relatively simple and works great now. I probably could have just replaced the ignitor but removal of the entire burner was still necessary, I may have had the same trouble with the screw holding the ignitor, and it was dirty and in poor condition. It looks and works much better with the whole new assembly.
