I have an older ('97/98) GE electric range/stove that needed a replacement infinity switch. The front/right burner was very inconsistent in heat settings. Sometimes, turning it DOWN to 4 or 5 made it glow like a meteor. Crazy. The GE replacement part is a universal part, made to replace quite a long list of OEM switches. Unfortunately, even with the adapter parts included, it still would not fit properly in my range. The knob was about 1/2" too far away from the body of the range, so I had to get a spacer and longer screws. Also, the included directions did not have the proper diagram for my original switch, but it was easy enough to swap wires based on the terminal labels. Just look at the terminal labels and move the wires accordingly. Functionally it is perfect. 5 stars. But, it did not have the proper fasteners or adapters to work for my model range/stove. Now I just have to re-learn how to cook on that burner again...
