16-year-old Kenmore Elite top load washer started banging & shacking/walking. Then through a UL error code. Did my YouTube videos and deduced it was the suspension rods. The ONLY tool needed was a putty knife to pop the lid bracket loose. Changing the rods was easy as ApplliancePartsPros.com included a video in my email receipt showing my exact washer... wow! Genuine OEM parts are in my hand 24 hours after ordering! I set up my laptop on the dryer and paused at each step. By the second rod I knew I was doing it right as each rod got harder as I went along telling me, Yep, that was the problem. Once the old rods were out you could see the difference in how much tension was NOT on the old springs. This is Sears original pert #8564009 replaced with W10820048.
