Robert H Claremont , NH April 20, 2020 Kitchen Aid dishwasher stopped mid cycle with flashing lights on normal wash button and cancel button We replaced the thermal fuse as recommended by Appliance Parts Pros as 59% the problem and since it was only a $20 part we decided it was worth changing. We also replaced the touch pad /control panel for $160 (not the entire control component). We also discovered once the dishwasher was apart that the door latch was broken. I had not ordered a new door latch so we able to use Gorilla Glue to repair the door latch. After these repairs the dishwasher is working again but we are not sure which of those three problems were the fix. Maybe all three? It cost us $200 to repair with the parts we purchased which was significantly less than replacing the dishwasher for $800. While there was no video on how to remove the control panel to install the touch pad panel there was however an excellent video on the thermal fuse replacement. Any correspondence via email or through Appliance Parts Pros website was addressed promptly. I will definitely use Appliance Parts Pros. I also want to mention that we got one part overnight and the second part the next day with standard shipping rates! Winning! 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
