I removed the cover plate and found the old knob to confirm the correct part. Ordered the part from y'all. When it arrived I made notes of how the old part was connected (took some pix).and removed the broken part, Be sure the appliance is unplugged. Mine reminded me with an electrical tickle.
Using my pix I hooked up the new part, reassembled the face plate and..... it worked great! It took me about an hour to do the job.
