I pulled the cook top up as if you would clean it and then unplugged the range. I removed the burner and old block. I followed the wires to where the block connectors connected in the back panel of range and removed rear plate. I pulled the old block and wires out and fished new block wires through the back and connected them. Then installed the block where the burner connected to it. Installed back plate and new burner and bowl.
