I purchased and installed the dishwasher in January 2008. Right at the start the water was leaking at the bottom corners of the door. I figured the bottom door seal was not installed correctly, maybe the bottom door seal was defective or this was a result of poor engineering. I looked on the internet but could not find any info for this unit to be leaking at the door. I found that if I pushed the door seal down that it did not leak. I did this for awhile and then it seemed to stay in place where I had pushed it. After awhile my wife tells me that there is water between the flooring and linoleum. Sure enough, it had started leaking again. Now there is water damage to the flooring. We immediately stopped using the dishwasher. Recently I thought I would recheck the internet for reports of others having the same problem.
Sure enough, not only are there reports by others of the same problem, but there is a part that can be purchased to correct it. I'm going with the engineering flaw. They had to come up with a 'fix'. Well, I have since purchased the 'fix' and installed it. So far, no more leaks. So we have started to use the dishwasher again after 4 years of it just sitting under the countertop taunting me that I had somehow screwed up.
