I watched a YouTube video that showed a part that looks just like mine needing only a diverter seal gasket, I effectively destroyed my sump trying to get the grommet out! I have used the videos and parts from appliance parts pros in the past, so I looked up this part that I thought I needed and read through all the comments of people who had installed theirs and determined I was on the right track ordering the sump and one sump hose clamp. Mine did have a clamp that required cutting off. Before undertaking the installation of the part, I watch the video at least two times so I felt completely comfortable doing the installation myself. Although some of the parts under my washer did not look exactly like those in the machine being repaired in the video, It wasn’t too difficult to figure out what I needed to do with my machine. I feel empowered after making my own repairs! Girl power!
