Daniel R Flemington , NJ March 07, 2015 Appliance: Model GE GSD1000L01 Leaking pump seal and leaking drain valve seal The repair was to stop a leaking pump seal, and leaking drain valve seal. The repair was a success, at a fraction of the cost of a new machine. The on-line repair video's were very informative and helpful. The repair went as planned, however there was great difficulty in removal of the old seal due to severe corrosion of pump internals. Once apart, reassembly went fairly smoothly.
