Removed water supply, disconnected the wire harness by gently lifting the clip on the outside of the connecter and pulling the connecter off. Removed the hose supplying water from the valve to the dishwasher by using pliers to open the clip ring and then sliding the hose off the barb on the valve. Replaced hose and clip on new valve, removed the white plastic clip that covered the metal leads on the new valve, and slipped the harness back on. (The white part of the picture is a clip to protect the leads. It gets discarded.)
