I took the dryer almost all apart to get to the replacement part. If I would have had a smaller hand, I could have done it without taking out the drum but it did give me a chance to really clean out all the lint (and there was a lot of it). I have had this dryer for over 20 years and this was the first problem I have had with it. The replacement part was simple to replace once everything was clean and put back into place. The recommended trouble shooting on your site was correct for my problem.
