The oven igniter glowed pretty bright orange but the gas would not flow to the burner. The broiler with its igniter operated properly, which eliminated the gas valve as the probable cause, so I ordered the oven igniter. The new igniter glows even brighter orange and allowed the gas to flow and ignite.
