Pulled the top of the washing machine. Hot and cold valves were readily accessible after the top was removed. Pulled the wiring harnesses and hoses of the valves. Unscrewed old valves. Put new in. Reconnected hoses and harnesses. Put top back on. No more than 20 minute job.
