My dryer was stopping after about 10 to 15 minutes of running in both automatic and timed cycles.
To confirm it was the motor and not an overheating issue, I turned the dryer on a no-heat cycle....and the dryer did the same thing. At this point, between the noises, and inconsistencies in dryer run time reducing, plus the help of Appliance Parts Pros website...I was confident that it was most likely the motor.
I bought the parts and was able to replace the motor and belt.
This appliance is about 25 years old at this point, and it is a workhorse.
The only bit of advice I could offer is I had to soak the blower connection to the motor shaft with WD40...and used about 150 lbs of my bodyweight to break the blower free.
All working. Great video help and parts.
Take pics of the wiring connections as you go as well.
