Santa Fe I Santa Fe , TX February 11, 2019 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL WTW4816FW1 Lid switch/latch was defective machine would not go into spin cycle after wash cycle because the latch would not engage to the lid strike I replaced the lid switch/latch, along with the lid strike. The strike probably did not need replacing, but I replaced it just in case. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
