Replaced all 4 suspension support rods as per the instructions on the site. If the tension clips on the front of the washer were not rusty the repair would have taken me less than 30 minutes. As it were it did take me a bit to get the top of the washer off to begin the repair. I also found that while the top of the washer is off it is an excellent time to level the washer as it is possible to set a 2 foot level on top of the tub itself. It wasn't possible to tell if the support rods were bad just by looking at them. Once I replaced one, that corner of the tub was a solid 1/2" higher so the others were apparently just worn out. Now there is peace in the house again, no knocking, no babysitting the rinse and spin load every time. Thanks for saving me the time, trouble and money of buying a new washer!
