I investigated and found that the dryer heating element had no continuity, so I ordered the dryer heating element. I first tried to get the part from Sears Appliance Parts but they showed the part as being discontinued. I then tried AppliancePartsPros.com and typed in my model and problem. I found that the web site had a section on the percentages of what part it took to repair the same problem I had. With that information, I chose to no only to order the dryer heating element, but I also ordered a dryer thermal fuse and the two thermal cut-off kit. The parts came quickly and I installed them that night.
